The Germany national football team (German: Deutsche Fußballnationalmannschaft) represents Germany in men's international soccer. Founded in 1900, the team is governed by the German Football Association (DFB) and competes as a member of UEFA.

Germany is one of the most successful national teams in international football, having won four FIFA World Cups (1954, 1974, 1990, 2014), three UEFA European Championships (1972, 1980, 1996), and one FIFA Confederations Cup (2017).

Recent History

At EURO 2024, Germany reached the round of 16 after a 2-0 win over Hungary. With young talents like Mario Götze, the national team established a new standard of football and led Germany back to the forefront of the international game.
